Description

Ingredients

  • Sirloin or Ribeye Steak
  • Fresh Garlic
  • Unsalted Butter
  • Baby Potatoes
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Fresh Herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Halve baby potatoes and mince garlic.
  2. Season steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak for 3-4 minutes per side until browned.
  4. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, basting the steak as it continues to cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Toss halved potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional herbs. Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let the steak rest briefly before slicing. Serve alongside crispy potatoes.
