Ingredients

  • Rigatoni pasta

  • Heavy cream
  • Canned whole tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot. Add rigatoni and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add Italian sausage and brown for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add diced onions and minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing until translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Pour in canned tomatoes and heavy cream, stirring well. Let the sauce simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Combine cooked rigatoni with the sauce in the skillet, mixing until well coated.
