  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • Orange food coloring
  • Green food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the wet mixture.
  5. Divide the dough; color one half orange and the other half green.
  6. Shape the orange dough into carrot shapes and use small pieces of green dough for the tops.
  7. Bake on lined sheets for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden. Allow to cool before decorating if desired.
