Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In one bowl, combine melted butter and cocoa powder; mix in granulated sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition. Then add vanilla extract and fold in flour and baking powder until just combined.
- In another bowl, cream unsalted butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy. Mix in eggs and vanilla extract, then gradually add flour and baking powder. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread half of the brownie batter in the pan, dollop cookie dough on top, then pour remaining brownie batter over it. Swirl lightly to combine.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
