- 12 medium pasta shells
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes. Stir in garlic and Italian seasoning.
- Remove from heat and mix in half of the marinara sauce.
- Stuff each cooked shell with the beef mixture and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
