  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce (plus more for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter with eggs and vanilla extract. Stir in half of the hot fudge sauce.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed; do not overmix.
  5. Pour half the batter into the loaf pan, drizzle with hot fudge sauce, then add the remaining batter on top. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. Let cool in the pan for about ten minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice and serve warm with additional hot fudge if desired.
