Description

Ingredients

  • 8 slices white bread
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (divided)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Flatten each slice of bread using a rolling pin until thin.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, granulated sugar, and 1/2 tsp cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture onto each flattened slice and roll tightly from one end to the other.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and remaining cinnamon.
  5. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Dip each roll in the egg mixture briefly and place seam-side down in the skillet. Cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
  6. Serve warm with powdered sugar or syrup.
