  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 12×15 inches and place on the baking sheet.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture down the center of the pastry and top with blueberries.
  5. Make diagonal cuts along both sides of the filling; fold each strip over alternately to create a braid.
  6. Whisk egg and water together; brush over the braid for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
