  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz pasta of your choice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread the chickpeas on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Roast for 20-25 minutes until crispy.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add chopped cabbage and cook for 5-7 minutes until wilted but still crunchy.
  3. Pour in heavy cream, simmer gently while stirring, then gradually add Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Mix in roasted chickpeas until well coated. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
