- 1 lb ground pork (or chicken/turkey)
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium preferred)

- ½ tsp black pepper
- 10–12 dough wrappers (or wonton wrappers)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare the filling by boiling water and blanching cabbage leaves for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
- In a bowl, mix ground meat, onion, garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Lay a cabbage leaf flat; add 1-2 tablespoons of filling in the center. Fold sides in and roll tightly.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat; fry dumplings seam-side down for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
