- 200g dark chocolate (high-quality)
- 100g roasted hazelnuts (chopped)
- 240ml heavy cream
- 100g granulated sugar
- 115g unsalted butter
- 3 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). If using homemade crust, roll it out into your pie pan. For pre-made crusts, simply place it in the pan.
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until pale yellow. Mix in the melted chocolate and vanilla extract.
- Gently fold in heavy cream and chopped hazelnuts, being careful not to overmix.
- Pour the filling into the prepared crust and bake for 30-35 minutes until slightly set but still wobbly in the center. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
