Instructions

  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the dry ingredients; stir until a dough forms.
  4. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm area until doubled (about 1 hour).
  6. Punch down dough, shape into sticks of about 6 inches, place on parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Brush with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and herbs; bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
