  • 20 large pasta shells
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, shredded
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley or basil, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix together shredded turkey, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and chopped herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Fill each shell with about two tablespoons of the turkey mixture and place them open-side up in a greased baking dish.
  4. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil for the last five minutes to brown the cheese.
