  • 1 cup shiitake mushrooms, diced
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 2 tbsp truffle oil
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for sautéing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a muffin tin with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté diced mushrooms with salt until golden brown (about 5 minutes).
  3. Add minced garlic and thyme; cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. In a bowl, combine sautéed mushrooms, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and truffle oil.
  5. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into circles to fit muffin tins.
  6. Place pastry rounds in the muffin tin and fill each shell with the mushroom mixture.
  7. Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown.
