  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a clean bowl, whip egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar while beating until stiff peaks develop.
  3. Gently fold in white vinegar and vanilla extract.
  4. Spoon the meringue onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into a circle with an indentation in the center.
  5. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes until crisp on the outside but soft inside. Turn off the oven and let it cool inside.
  6. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Once the pavlova is completely cool, top it with whipped cream and arrange sliced strawberries.
