  • 1 cup dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc)

  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Clean the mussels under cold water, scrubbing the shells and discarding any that remain open when tapped.

  3. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for about three minutes to cook off some alcohol.
  4. Add the cleaned mussels to the pot, cover with a lid, and steam for 5-7 minutes until opened.
  5. Stir in chopped parsley for added freshness.
  6. Serve hot with plenty of broth and lemon wedges on the side.
