- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 can (15 oz) sliced peaches, drained
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Heat milk until warm; stir in melted butter. Add to dry ingredients and mix until dough forms.
- Knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for about an hour or until doubled.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle about half an inch thick. Spread melted butter over it; sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Top with chopped peaches.
- Roll tightly from one end to another; slice into equal pieces about two inches thick and arrange in a greased baking dish.
- Let rolls rise again for 30 minutes while preheating oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before drizzling with glaze made from powdered sugar mixed with milk.
