  2. Melt the butter in a bowl and mix in granulated and brown sugars until combined.

  4. Mix in red food coloring until you reach the desired color.
  5. In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder; gradually fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean but slightly moist.
