  • 1 ½ cups crushed pretzels
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • Sea salt flakes for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar until combined. Press firmly into the bottom of the baking pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream, vanilla extract, sugar, and eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined.
  4. Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust and smooth it out evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes until edges are set but center jiggles slightly. Cool completely at room temperature.
  5. Drizzle warm caramel sauce on top and sprinkle with sea salt flakes. Refrigerate for at least two hours before slicing into bars.
