- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 green onions (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until just combined.
- Form small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for approximately 20 minutes until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- In a separate bowl, mix sweet chili sauce with finely chopped green onions. Toss the baked meatballs in this sauce until well-coated.
- Serve immediately on a platter garnished with extra green onions if desired.
