Description

Delight your guests with this juicy marinated flank steak, bursting with flavor and perfect for grilling at any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ lbs flank steak
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together soy sauce, garlic, ginger, lime juice, honey, olive oil, and black pepper in a bowl.
  2. Pierce the flank steak all over with a fork to enhance marinade absorption.
  3. Place the steak in a resealable bag or shallow dish, pour the marinade over it, seal tightly, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for optimal flavor.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (400°F).
  5. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard it. Grill each side for about 5-7 minutes until cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Allow the steak to rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips. Serve warm with cilantro if desired.
