- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Season diced chicken with salt and pepper; sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Pour in the chicken broth and scrape any browned bits from the bottom of the pot.
- Stir in fettuccine and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until pasta is tender.
- Remove from heat; stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust seasoning if needed.
