  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers (mixed colors), sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by slicing the beef and vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, cornstarch mixture, and a pinch of sugar for the sauce.
  3. Heat a wok or large skillet with vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear beef strips for about 2 minutes until browned but not fully cooked; remove from pan.
  5. Stir-fry bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots in the same pan for around 3 minutes until bright and crisp.
  6. Return beef to the pan, add sauce, and stir until everything is heated through and coated evenly (about 2 more minutes).
  7. Serve immediately with extra sesame oil drizzled on top if desired.
