  • 1 lb beef flank steak, sliced against the grain
  • 1/2 cup black bean sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 cup bell peppers (mixed colors), sliced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the sliced flank steak in a mixture of soy sauce and cornstarch for at least 30 minutes.
  2. While marinating, chop garlic and ginger and slice the bell peppers.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the marinated beef until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

  5. Stir in bell peppers and cook until tender-crisp.
  6. Pour in black bean sauce; stir until well combined and let simmer for a few minutes.
