Instructions

  1. Prepare your mangoes by washing, peeling, and chopping them into small pieces; set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the chopped mangoes with sugar and lemon juice. Stir occasionally until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Once bubbling gently, stir in the finely chopped chili peppers and cook until aromatic.
  4. Gradually add pectin while stirring to avoid lumps; boil for about 1-2 minutes until thickened.
  5. Test for consistency by dropping a spoonful on a cold plate; if it holds its shape after cooling slightly, it's ready.
