Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
For the Crust
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice freshly squeezed

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Make the Crust
  1. In a bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, and garlic powder.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
Cook the Chicken
  1. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Remove from heat and top each chicken breast with the Parmesan crust mixture.
Bake
  1. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add heavy cream and lemon juice, stirring until heated through and slightly thickened.
Serve
  1. Plate the chicken and drizzle with the cream sauce. Serve hot.
