Prepare the Dough
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, and salt.
- Add the warm water and olive oil, then mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Cover the dough with a towel and let it rise in a warm place for 15 minutes.
Prepare the Filling
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese, sliced pepperoni, and pizza sauce.
Assemble the Pizza Pockets
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into circles using a large cookie cutter or a bowl.
- Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each dough circle.
- Fold the dough over to create a pocket and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
Bake the Pizza Pockets
- Place the assembled pockets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle the tops with grated parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve
- Remove the pizza pockets from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
